NYU Students who have a Fall 2009 & Spring 2010 NYU Housing license:
NYU students with both a Fall 2009 & Spring 2010 NYU Housing contract may continue to stay in their existing residence hall assignment during Winter Session and do not need to complete any application.

NYU students who have only a Fall 2009 or Spring 2010 NYU Housing license:
NYU students who have only a Fall 2009 or Spring 2010 NYU Housing license (fall residents leaving for spring study abroad or new spring residents) may request housing during Winter Session by sending an email to housing.winter.session@nyu.edu. Please include your name, UID & NYU Housing assignment information in the email. (All requests must be made by Friday, December 15, 2009). In most cases, residents who only have a Fall 2009 NYU Housing license will be required to relocate from their Fall 2009 housing assignment to the Greenwich Hotel. Fall 2009 residents must check out after their Winter Session classes have ended, no later than 12 Noon on Saturday, January 16, 2010.

Non-NYU students attending Winter Session:
Limited housing for non-NYU students enrolled in Winter Session coursework may be available at the Greenwich Hotel residence hall on a first-come, first-served basis. The Greenwich Hotel residence hall is located in the historic West Village neighborhood at 636 Greenwich Street. Accommodations are shared bedrooms in multi-bedroom apartments with kitchens and bathrooms. All bedrooms are furnished with a bed, desk, and dresser for each resident. Residents will be provided with linen and towels upon their arrival. Please note that smoking is not permitted in NYU Housing.

If you are interested in making a Winter Session reservation at the Greenwich Hotel residence hall, please complete the Housing Application portion of the Winter Session 2010 Registration Form (when it becomes available in October) and return the form to the Office of Special Sessions no later than Friday, December 15, 2009. Upon submission, a Housing representative will contact you with information about availability and instructions about making payment.

Dates:

There are two one-week housing sessions:
Week 1: Sunday, January 3, 2010 (check-in begins at 9:00 am) – Saturday, January 9, 2010 (check-out by 12 Noon)
Week 2: Sunday, January 10, 2010 (check-in begins at 9:00 am) – Saturday, January 16, 2010 (check-out by 12 Noon)
Applicants may request to stay one week or both weeks based on their enrollment dates. All Winter Session residents must check out of NYU Housing by 12 Noon on January 16, 2010. 

Rate: $330 per person per week or $660 per person for the two week session. Weeks cannot be pro-rated.

Cancellation policy: Once a reservation has been confirmed, there will be a $250 cancellation fee for any reservation cancelled on or before December 15, 2009. No refunds will be issued for reservations cancelled after December 15, 2009.
