Diplomas

Diplomas of students in arrears will be held until their financial obligations to the University are fulfilled and they have been cleared by the Bursar. You may contact the Bursar's Office at (212)998-2806 to clear arrears or to discuss your financial status at the University.

Diplomas are issued only once, subject to the exceptions noted below. In order to assure the absolute integrity of the document, the University will under no circumstances issue a duplicate of an outstanding original.

Receive Your Diploma by Mail

Diplomas are mailed to the student's permanent address on file about eight weeks after degrees have been awarded. Verify or update your address online on Albert, in person at the Student Services Center or by mail with a signed letter to the Office of the Registrar at P.O. Box 910, New York, NY 10276-0910 or fax the letter to (212)995-4558.

Pick Up Your Diploma

If you wish to pick up your diploma, fill out a diploma pick-up form at the Student Services Center at 25 West 4th Street, indicating your intent to pick up and the address and phone number where we may contact you, when the document arrives from the printer's. You may also mail or fax a signed statement with the information requested above to the Office of the University at P.O. Box 910, New York, NY 10276-0910 or fax # (212)995-4558.

In your request, please state the basis for the name change. A photocopy of the relevant legal documents should be enclosed.
