| Display of the January Term 2013 Schedule of Classes | January term classes will be available in the Course Search feature of Albert beginning the week of October 8, 2012. |
| Registration Status | Students will be able to view their Registration Status for the January term using the Student Center on Albert beginning the week of October 8, 2012. |
| Withdrawal Schedule | A grade of 'W' will be issued beginning the 4th calendar day of the session. |
| Monday, October 22, 2012 | January term Registration begins at 9:00am Eastern Daylight Time for most undergraduate, graduate, and diploma students. |
| Tuesday, November 6, 2012 (Tentative Date) | E-Bills will be available for January term classes. Beginning today students will received an e-bill through their NYU e-mail account for January term enrollment within two days of enrolling for their class. |
| Monday, December 10, 2012 | The January term tuition payment is due. |
| Wednesday, December 12, 2012 | Last day to drop a January term class and receive 100% of tuition. |
| Thursday, December 13, 2012 | Beginning today all students who drop a winter session course without enrolling in an alternative course will receive a refund of 100% of tuition less $500. |
| Saturday, December 22, 2012 thru Sunday, January 6, 2013 |
Holiday: Winter Recess No classes scheduled. Albert available 24 hours. Note: The University, including the Office of the University Registrar, will be closed from Saturday, December 22, 2012 through Tuesday, January 1, 2013. During this period requests for paper transcripts and enrollment certifications will not be processed. |
| Sunday, January 6, 2013 | Last day for all students to use Albert to add or drop January term classes. Last day of active Waitlists. |
| Monday, January 7, 2013 | The first day of classes for the January term. Waitlists will be purged. |
| Monday, January 7, 2013 | All registration transactions (initial registration, dropping a class, adding a class) must be processed at the Student Services Center (25 West 4th Street). Please note that prior approval/authorization from your academic advisor, Department or the Dean of your college may be required. |
| Wednesday, January 9, 2013 | The last day to drop a class without the issuance of a 'W' grade. |
| Thursday, January 10, 2013 | A grade of 'W' will be issued for students who drop a class or withdraw for the term. |

| Display of the Spring 2013 Schedule of Classes | The spring 2013 schedule of classes will be available in the Course Search feature of Albert beginning the week of October 15, 2012. |
| Registration Status | During the week of October 15, 2012 you will be able to access Registration Status information in the Student Center on Albert. You will be able to obtain the date and time that you will initially be able to enroll for spring 2013 classes, check if you require advisor clearance prior to registration, and view any negative service indicators (holds) that will prevent you from enrolling at your appointed registration date/time. |
