January Term 2012
 
Display of the January Term 2012 Schedule of Classes January term classes will be available in the Course Search feature of Albert beginning the week of October 3, 2011.
Registration Status Students will be able to view their Registration Status for the January term using the Student Center on Albert beginning the week of October 10, 2011.
Withdrawal Schedule A grade of 'W' will be issued beginning the 4th calendar day of the session.
Monday, October 24, 2011 January term Registration begins at 9:00am EST for most undergraduate, graduate, and diploma students.
Wednesday, November 16, 2011 E-Bills will be available for January term classes. Beginning this week, student's will receive an e-bill through their NYU e-mail account for the January term enrollment within two days of enrolling for their class.
Friday, December 9, 2011 The January term tuition payment is due.
Failure to meet the payment deadline will result in the cancellation of class reservations.
Wednesday, December 14, 2011 Last day to drop a January term class and receive a 100% refund of tuition.
Thursday, December 15, 2011 Beginning today all students who drop a January term class will receive a refund of 100% of tuition less $500.
Thursday, December 22, 2011 The last day of active waitlists.
Thursday, December 22, 2011 The last day for all students to use Albert to add or drop January term classes.
Friday, December 23, 2011 All registration transactions (initial registration, adding a class, dropping a class) must be processed at the Student Services Center (25 West 4th Street).
Tuesday, January 3, 2012 The first day of classes for the January term.
Note : Today is the last day of the winter holiday recess for the University. January term classes will be in session but only a limited number of academic services will be available.
Wednesday, January 4, 2012 All registration transactions (initial registration, dropping a class, adding a class) must be processed at the Student Services Center (25 West 4th Street).
Thursday, January 5, 2012 The last day to drop a class without the issuance of a 'W' grade.
Friday, January 6, 2012 A grade of 'W' will be issued for students who drop a class or withdraw for the term.
Saturday, January 21, 2012 The last day of classes for the January term.

Spring 2012
 
Display of the Spring 2012 Schedule of Classes The Spring 2012 schedule of classes will be available in the Course Search feature of Albert during the week of October 17, 2011.
Registration Status During the week of October 17, 2011 you will be able to access Registration Status information in the Student Center on Albert. You will be able to obtain the date and time that you will initially be able to enroll for spring 2012 classes, check if you require advisor clearance prior to registration, and view any negative service indicators (holds) that will prevent you from enrolling at your appointed registration date/time.

Course Status The Course Search function for Summer became available in Albert on January 13, 2012.
Registration Status During the week of January 23, 2012 access to Registration Status information in the Student Center on Albert become available. You are able to obtain the date and time that you will initially be able to enroll for summer 2012 classes, check if you require advisor clearance prior to registration, and view any negative service indicators (holds) that will prevent you from enrolling at your appointed registration date/time.
