The Reality Show: NYU is an award-winning, compelling program developed to help address the health needs of our students. This mandatory orientation program comes in the form of a theatrical performance written and performed by a talented set of NYU undergraduates for all new incoming undergraduate students. It familiarizes students with the NYU Wellness Exchange, the 24-hour hotline, the Residential Education staff, Public Safety, and other resources they may need. The production, which has been featured in the New York Times, is directed by Tisch School of the Arts faculty member, Elizabeth Swados, who has composed, written, and directed over 30 theatre pieces, including the Broadway production, Runaways, and who is an expert in working with young people to portray compelling personal and social issues.

NYU is excited to announce an exiting new initiative to help implement the Reality Show on select campuses across the country. Fees will be determined on a sliding scale.
