Purchasing Services has added a new Supplier to NYU i-Buy Marketplace. The supplier is Empire Office Furniture, NYU's exclusive Steelcase furniture provider. Now you can select and purchase via i-Buy, a special selection of our most popular ordered items (chairs, desks, files, tables, storage cabinets, key board trays - a variety of colors/finishes are available) from Steelcase, Global Office and Humanscale. All products indicated on the Empire/i-Buy site are Green! (Greenguard or SCS Indoor Advantage Certified) and all prices indicated reflects the NYU price, including delivery & installation.
Products will be available to ship to Empire's warehouse:
Steelcase: approximately 4-6 weeks from receipt of order.
Global: approximately 1-2 weeks from receipt of order.
Humanscale: approximately 2-3 weeks from receipt of order,
This initial offering of furniture is only the beginning. Purchasing Services is currently working with additional manufacturers to increase the Empire product offering. Please visit the site often as the "green" product offering will be expanding.
You can also place a Service Request through the Empire i-Buy site, including a request to repair an item or obtain an estimate for refinishing.
