The NYU School of Law's Center on Law and Security will host a one-day series of roundtables on the topic, "ARE WE SAFER? : TRANSFORMATIONS IN SECURITY SINCE 9/11." The series will be held on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM at New York University School of Law, Vanderbilt Hall, 40 Washington Square South. The event is free and open to the public.

COME AND HEAR THE EXPERTS. Conference panelists--experts, educators, practitioners and policymakers-are all deeply immersed in security. They will provide an overview of security issues since 9/11 on a local, national and international level as well as discuss the defense measures instituted by the NYPD, Homeland Security, New York State and national and international agencies. Additional topics will include border control, money laundering, and the new law enforcement tactics and systems to counteract terrorism.
