WHAT: An Open Forum, “TORTURE: THE LEGAL ROAD TO ABU GHRAIB AND BEYOND, will be sponsored by the Center for Law and Security at New York University School of Law. The forum---a unique gathering of top legal scholars, nationally recognized journalists and leading defense counsel--will survey the legal road to Abu Ghraib, the culpable processes that led to the torture, and the systemic remedies available.
