The Eighth Annual Timothy A. Gelatt Dialogue
on Law and Development in Asia

WHAT:
The New York University School of Law, in cooperation with the Council on Foreign Relations, will present the eighth annual Timothy A. Gelatt Dialogue on Law and Development in Asia. The Dialogue is free and open to the public.
WHO:
NYU Law Professor Jerome Cohen, the law school's senior American expert on East Asian law, will moderate a Dialogue entitled, "Who's Land Is It Anyway? Tenure Reform Under China's New Rural Land Contracting Law."
NYU Law Professor Frank Upham, author of Law and Social Change in Postwar Japan, will offer commentary in addition to speakers from the Rural Development Institute.
WHERE:
Martin Lipton Hall, D'Agostino Hall, 110 West Third Street. A reception will be held in the atrium of Martin Lipton Hall following the Dialogue.
