Safe Ride Overnight Van Service

Safe Ride vans provide all overnight service. This is an on-call, shared ride van service which is available for transportation to and from NYU facilities. The average wait time for a van is 15 minutes, but wait times during busy periods may be longer. If you require transportation during these hours, please call the Department of Public Safety at (212) 992-VANS (992-8267). A van operated by Academy Bus will be dispatched to transport you.

Real time Safe Ride van locations are available at www.nyu.edu/nyutransport. Passengers are expected to be ready to board their Safe Ride van safely yet promptly when the van arrives. Passengers may monitor the real time locations of Safe Ride vans at www.nyu.edu/nyutransport.
