Safe Ride Replaced By Scheduled Routes During Exam Period

From Wednesday, May 7 through Tuesday, May 13, Safe Ride Van Service will be replaced by scheduled route bus service during overnight hours. Scheduled service on all campus routes will operate during overnight periods (12 AM to 7 AM on weekdays and 12 AM to 10 AM on weekends). Service during this overnight period will begin & end at Bobst Library, not 715 Broadway.

Campus Transportation

Approximate operating hours during the Fall 2007 session are from 7 AM until Midnight on weekdays. Safe Ride on-call van service operates from Midnight to 5:00 AM with vehicles provided by CoachUSA. The final call for service is accepted thirty minutes prior to the conclusion of the Safe Ride operating hours. Passengers who require Safe Rides should call 992-VANS (992-8267).

Campus transportation is free to any NYU student, faculty, staff, or alumnus who presents a valid NYU ID card. Proper ID cards must be presented to board any of the vehicles.

Route information and schedules for all current services may be accessed on line at this web site. Please refer to the Announcements page of this web site for dates when regular service will be suspended or altered for holidays, or those dates when the University is closed.
