Campus TransportationApproximate operating hours during the Fall 2008 session are from 7 AM until Midnight on weekdays. Safe Ride on-call van service operates from Midnight to 6:30 AM with vehicles provided by Coach USA. The final call for service is accepted thirty minutes prior to the conclusion of the Safe Ride operating hours. Passengers who require Safe Rides should call 992-VANS (992-8267). Campus transportation is free to any NYU student, faculty, staff, or alumnus who presents a valid NYU ID card. Proper ID cards must be presented to board any of the vehicles. Route information and schedules for all current services may be accessed on line at this web site. Please refer to the Announcements page of this web site for dates when regular service will be suspended or altered for holidays, or those dates when the University is closed.
