Lost & Found

The Lost and Found Department is located in our Command Center at 14 Washington Place, New York, NY 10003. Please review the list below for found items. To further identify an item please call (212) 998-1305 and reference the Tag#.

Policy: All unclaimed items, except cash, valuable jewelry and NYU ID Cards are held for 30 days. After which, they will be disposed of by appropriate means. Cash and valuable jewelry are immediately forwarded to the New York City Police Department for vouchering. NYU ID Cards are destroyed immediately. Anyone claiming property at the Lost and Found Department must show a valid NYU ID or a valid driver's license.
