Alan Greenspan and Gordon Brown Receive Honorary Degrees From NYU, December 14, 2005

On Wednesday, December 14, 2005, New York University conferred honorary degrees on Gordon Brown, chancellor of the exchequer of the United Kingdom, and Alan Greenspan, outgoing chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, at a special convocation exercise held at 3pm in New York University’s Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. Brown received an honorary doctorate of humane letters, while Greenspan received an honorary doctorate of commercial science.
