Alliance Players Present Concert Program to Celebrate Nadia Boulanger’s Birthday, at NYU’s Maison Française, Sept. 16

The Alliance Players, a chamber music group of prominent soloists and former players of the world’s leading ensembles, will perform a program in celebration of the birthday of Nadia Boulanger, one of the most influential teachers of composition of the 20th century, on Wednesday, September 16, at 7:30 p.m, at New York University’s Maison Française, 16 Washington Mews. Featured composers will include Virgil Thompson, Elliot Carter, Astor Piazzola, Louise Talma, and Boulanger.
Players are: Nurit Pacht, violinist and director of The Alliance Players; Caroline Stinson, cellist; Sato Moughalian, flutist; and pianist Molly Morkoski.
