NYU School of Law’s Center on Law and Security Hosts Open Forum, “Making the National Security System Work,” Apr. 9

On Thursday, April 9, 2009, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., NYU School of Law’s Center on Law and Security will host an open forum, “Making the National Security System Work,” to discuss issues raised by its latest report, Reforming the Culture of National Security: Vision, Clarity and Accountability. The report, a result of a working group at the Center sponsored by the Markle Foundation, provides recommendations for cultural - not structural - reform of the national security establishment to provide effective assessment of and response to evolving, cross-cutting, and interrelated threats.
