NYU Celebrates Earth Day 2009 with a Street Fair, Lectures, and Green Projects

On April 22nd, New York University will participate in the 39th annual Earth Day celebration with a street fair, lectures, green projects, and an environmental networking dinner. We kick-off the celebration early with a week-long schedule of events, including a lecture by Oxford University’s climate change expert Cameron Hepburn on “Earth Day Eve.” Hepburn’s lecture - “Beating Long Odds: A New Global Deal on Climate Change,” will be held Tuesday, April 21, 6:00 pm at the Gould Welcome Center, 50 West 4th Street, NYC.
