A new report by the Commission on the Prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation and Terrorism concludes that it is more likely than not that a weapon of mass destruction will be used in a terrorist attack somewhere in the world by the end of 2013 unless the global community takes decisive action.

Former Senator Bob Graham (D-Fla.), chair of the Commission, and Frances Townsend, former Homeland Security Advisor, will be among the speakers discussing the report’s findings and recommendations at an open forum hosted by New York University School of Law’s Center on Law and Security called “World at Risk? WMDs and the Specter of Future Terror,” on Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at NYU School of Law, Furman Hall, 245 Sullivan Street, Room 216 (between Washington Square South and W. 3rd Streets). The event is free and open to the public.
