China's Ambassador to the U.S., Zhou Wenzhong, to Speak On Sino-U.S. Relationship at NYU, Jan. 22

Zhou Wenzhong, China’s ambassador to the United States, will deliver a public address, “China’s Development and the Sino-U.S. Relationship,” on Thursday, January 22, 1-2:15 p.m., at New York University. The event will be held at NYU’s Hemmerdinger Hall, Silver Center for Arts and Science, Room 102, 100 Washington Square East (at Washington Place).

The event, co-hosted by NYU China House and the university’s Office of Global Programs, is free and open to the public, which must RSVP by going to: http://www.nyu.edu/rsvp/event.php?e_id=1211. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Zhou, whose previous posts include consul general to Los Angeles and vice minister of foreign affairs, was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the United States of America in 2005.
