New York University School of Law’s Center on Law and Security and Harper’s Magazine will host a panel of legal experts in an open forum to discuss methods available to the government to reckon with a legacy of human rights abuses. The panel, called “After Torture: Discussing a Plan for Justice in the Post-Bush Era,” will take place on Thursday, December 4, 2008, at NYU School of Law, Lipton Hall, 108 W. 3rd Street (between Macdougal and Sullivan Streets).
