“Honorary Banker” will be Michael Stoler of Apollo Real Estate Advisors
The graduate alumni of the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate will host their 16th annual “Evening of Monopoly”®-one of the real estate community’s “must attend” events-on Wednesday, November 5, 2008, 6:30pm, at Gotham Hall (1356 Broadway at West 36th Street) in Midtown Manhattan. More than 500 industry executives are expected, for cocktails, dinner and, of course, some intense rounds of the ever-popular Monopoly® board game.
Michael Stoler is a longtime adjunct professor at the Schack Institute, teaching the Tri-State Real Estate Market Trends class and co-chairing the Institute’s annual Capital Markets in Real Estate Conference. Stoler is a Senior Principal at Apollo Real Estate Advisors. Additionally, he is a well-known real estate media commentator-as host of “The Michael Stoler Real Estate Report” on 1010 WINS Radio and former contributing editor and real estate columnist for The New York Sun. Prior to joining Apollo, he served as a senior vice president at First American Title Insurance Company of New York, and president of Princeton Commercial Corporation, a management consulting and financing firm, which he founded in 1977.
The “Evening of Monopoly®” event is an annual fundraiser, with the proceeds going toward student and programmatic support at the Schack Institute, which has been for 41 years the University’s home for applied research, graduate study, and continuing professional education in real estate, construction management, and related fields. This event is sponsored each year by the NYU Schack Institute Alumni Association.
