NYU’s Maison Française Honors French Consul General François Delattre at Gala Benefit, May 22

On Monday, May 22, La Maison Française of New York University, now celebrating its 51st year, will hold a gala benefit to raise funds for its program of lectures, conferences, symposia, art exhibits, films, concerts, theater, and special events.
At the benefit François Delattre, Consul General of France in New York, will be presented with the Medal of Honor of the Center for French Civilization and Culture at NYU in recognition of his contributions to Franco-American relations.
The gala benefit, which will take place at the Consulate General of France, 934 Fifth Avenue (between 74th and 75th Streets), opens with a reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by a dinner catered by Feast & Fêtes of Restaurant Daniel. The Dan Tepfer Trio will perform improvisational contemporary jazz. Tickets are $1,000 ($900, tax-deductible) and $750 ($650 tax-deductible).
