NYU's Deutsches Haus Hosts Two Special Events in May

Deutsches Haus at New York University, located at 42 Washington Mews (at University Place), will host two special events in May. Both are free and open to the public. For further information, call 212.998.8663 or visit www.nyu.edu/deutscheshaus.
Both events are part of the Max Weber Lecture Series, focusing this spring on “Power and Architecture: The Construction of Capitals.”
On Friday, May 2, at 6 p.m., Klaus von Beyme from the Universität Heidelberg will discuss “Democracy as Builder and Principal.”
On Thursday, May 8, at 6 p.m., Terry Kirk from the American University of Rome will lecture on “Building Fascist Bodies: The Foro Mussolini in Rome, Metaphysics, and Homoeroticism.”
