Cycling in the City On April 16

NYU, NYC Dept. of Transportation, and Time’s Up! Present Cycling in the City: A Forum on Rider Rights and Responsibilities.
Students from New York University, local residents, businesses, organizations, and elected officials will learn and discuss bicycle rights and responsibilities. The NYC Department of Transportation will present about the issue as well as discuss possible future developments regarding cycling in the city, and Time’s Up! will lead a hands-on demonstration highlighting bike maintenance and safety. Councilmember Rosie Mendez is scheduled to offer opening remarks.
In addition, free prizes, including a new bicycle, will be raffled off to help promote safe cycling in New York City.
