NYU’s Center on Law and Security will present a half-day conference, “Privatizing Defense: Blackwater, Contractors, and American Security,” focusing on the outsourcing phenomenon and its ramifications for American institutions, the future of the military, and the national security community, on Thurs., Apr. 3, 2008, 1:45-5:45 p.m. at NYU School of Law’s Lipton Hall, 108 W. 3rd Street (between MacDougal and Sullivan Streets).
