Dance, staged theater readings, and concerts are just part of the Gallatin Arts Festival at New York University, which will take place from Mon., April 7 through Sat., April 12 at locations at and around New York University. Subway Lines: 6 (Astor Place); A, B, C, D, E, F, V (West 4th Street); R, W (8th Street).

The Gallatin Arts Festival, which debuted in 1992, features the works of more than 100 up-and-coming student artists. This year’s theme is “The Artist in Dialogue,” with students considering how their works serve as a dialogue with the audience: how their art may spur discussion or debate; which cultures or ideas are they communicating with; how their art is in dialogue with other works.
