Shrum Heads NYU Panel On 2008 Presidential Election, March 6

New York University will host a panel discussion, “Election ‘08: Politics, Process, and Predictions,” on Thurs., March 6, 7:30 p.m. at NYU’s Stern School of Business (Schimmel Auditorium, Tisch Hall, 40 West Fourth Street [at Greene Street]). The event is free and open to the NYU community (valid NYU ID required for entry).
The panel is comprised of four members of the NYU faculty: Anna Harvey, a professor in NYU’s Department of Politics and author of Votes Without Leverage: Women in American Electoral Politics, 1920-1968; Wagner Graduate School of Public Service Senior Fellow Robert Shrum, senior advisor to the Kerry-Edwards campaign in 2004; Rogan Kersh, an associate professor at the Wagner School and author of Dreams of a More Perfect Union: A Study of American Political Thought; and NYU School of Law Professor Samuel Issacharoff, co-author of The Law of Democracy: Legal Structure of the Political Process.
The event is co-sponsored by by the Political Union and Review at NYU, the Wagner Political Alliance at NYU, and NYU Division of Student Affairs.
