"A Passion for Discovery" Author Freund to Deliver Public Lecture at NYU, Feb. 14

Peter Freund, a University of Chicago theoretical physicist and author of A Passion for Discovery, will deliver a public lecture at New York University’s Department of Physics on Thurs., Feb. 14, at 4 p.m. in NYU’s Meyer Hall (4 Washington Place [at Broadway], Room 122). Subway Lines: N, R, W (8th Street); 6 (Astor Place).
A Passion for Discovery (World Scientific Publishing Company, 2007) explores interactions between theoretical physicists and the way historical forces affect their behavior. The work’s stories include the work and lives of Albert Einstein, Erwin Schrödinger, Ernst Stueckelberg, and others.
