NYU School of Law Conference Considers Role of Psychology, Sociology

New York University’s School of Law will host its Second Annual Conference on Empirical Legal Studies on Fri., Nov. 9, 9 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sat., Nov. 10, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. The conference will consider the role of economics, political science, demographics, finance, psychology, sociology, and other disciplines in the legal field. Sessions will include the presentation and discussion of scholarship in these areas.

This conference is organized by the newly created Society for Empirical Legal Studies (SELS). It is jointly organized by Cornell Law School, NYU School of Law and the University of Texas School of Law.
