
Robert Kivetz was appointed Vice President of Auxiliary Services in 2003.
In this role, Kivetz is responsible for student housing, student dining, the University Bookstores, the Torch Club, and the NYU One Card System. He works with Sr. Vice President Cheryl Mills to balances the needs of students and the values of the University. Auxiliary Services provides the University with high quality, effective and entrepreneurial services.
Kivetz had been the Assistant Vice President for Housing and Residence Life since 1987. During his tenure, he oversaw the growth of the student housing system from 5,000 to 12,000 students.
Kivetz has over 30 years of experience in the field of Higher Education and Housing and Residence Life. Previous to New York University, he was Director of Housing at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg for 10 years, with additional experience at Miami University in Ohio and the University of South Florida.
He received his doctorate from the University of Mississippi with a major in Higher Education Administration; his M.S. from Miami University, and his B.A. from SUNY College at Fredonia.
