Tomasz Sadzik joins the Department of Economics as an Assistant Professor. He earned his B.A. in Mathematics at Warsaw University (2003), his M.A. in Economics at the Warsaw School of Economics (2003), and his Ph.D. in Business Administration at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Department of Economic Analysis and Policy.
Dr. Sadzik works in the area of microeconomics and game theory. His current research interests focus on the interactive reasoning and learning, as well as dynamic games and dynamic contract design. In recent papers, "Beliefs revealed in Bayesian equilibrium" and "Coordinated learning to play Nash equilibrium", he deals with the foundations of the equilibrium solution concept, trying to understand the conditions on reasoning or learning from experience that would lead agents to play equilibrium. Currently, Dr. Sadzik is working on the analytical characterization of the optimal contracts in continuous time models of trade with adverse selection.
