- Administrative oversight of research support and coordination campus-wide
- Office of Industrial Liaison
- Office of Sponsored Programs
- Office of Veterinary Resources
- Research compliance: University Animal Welfare Committee, University Committee on Activities Involving Human Subjects, and University Biosafety and Environmental Health and Safety Committees
- Research policies, compliance training, and training of research administrators
As Associate Vice Provost for Research Compliance and Administration, Marti Dunne has primary responsibility for developing and implementing an integrated and comprehensive research compliance program for the Washington Square campus. In addition, she has administrative responsibility for University research and related activities that involve extramural sponsorship, which includes overseeing the Office of Industrial Liaison, the Office of Sponsored Programs, the Office of Veterinary Resources, the University Animal Welfare Committee, and the University Committee on Activities Involving Human Subjects.
Marti Dunne has been at NYU for many years, rising from Assistant Director to Associate Director, and then to Director of the Office of Sponsored Programs, a position she held from 1998 to 2005.
