TOWARD A DIALECTICAL LIBERTARIANISM
CARLO LUIGI LAGOMARSINO [ROMANO], BIBLIOTECA DELL' EGOISTA (JANUARY 2001)
This Italian review states that from the perspective of Italy, American libertarianism seems like a monolith. But Total Freedom, praised as a "book of the month" even by orthodox Rothbardians, discloses a great variety in libertarian thought. Sciabarra provides objections to the "granitic rationalism" of Murray Rothbard, but he uses as a base, the dialectical method so often associated with Karl Marx. "A true proof, today, of [Sciabarra's] nonconformism!"
