From Theory to Practice
I've managed to boil down the entire content of my writings into one simple question: "How many capitalists does it take to screw in a light bulb?" That's it. Really. Now you have ten second to answer... counting... still counting... Okay, the ten seconds are up. If you answered "One (or more) to hire a worker to do it", you get a grade of 'F' and have to reread all my works from the beginningonly no skipping pages this time. If you answered "None", recognizing that we don't need capitalists to screw in light bulbs or do anything else that needs doing, you graduate with high honors and can now go out and share what you have learned with others. And to help you (and those you talk to) in your new role as revolutionary, here are some quotations that I keep under my pillow at night: "IF YOU'RE NOT OUTRAGED, YOU'RE NOT PAYING ATTENTION". (If I've left out any quotations that you think deserve a place on this list, send them to me on the Message Board so I can consider whether to include them.) |
