NYLON members publish their work as books and articles in peer-reviewed academic journals on an ongoing basis. Before submitting the work to journals or book editors, NYLON members workshop research proposals, field notes, and unfinished drafts among members of the reserach network.
NYLON Joint Publications
NYLON publishes a book series with Routledge edited by co-founders Richard Sennett and Craig Calhoun entitled Taking Culture Seriously. The first volume, Practicing Culture was released in fall of 2008, the second volume, Creating Authority is forthcoming.
