EXPERTISE:

Electronic properties of conjugated aromatic crystals, such as anthracene and tetracene. These include conductivity, charge injection, electroluminescence, and exciton dynamics. These studies, as well as those of many other scientists, have been described in the books "Electronic Processes in Organic Crystals (1982)"
and Electronic Processes in Organic Crystals and Polymers (1999)" by Martin Pope and Charles E. Swenberg, and published by Oxford University Press.

CURRENT INTEREST:

Effect of a large inhomogeneous electric field on the motion of neutral excitons in the organic molecular crystals.

RECENT PROJECTS:

CT Exciton Echoes in Organic Molecular Crystals.

Picosecond Spectroscopy of Exited States Based on the Non Linear Electron Photoemission.

Device for the Femtosecond Pulse Measurements.

Mechanisms of Charge Transfer in Organic Molecules.
