| Culture Notes | Grows on OP50 at 20-25C. Hermaphroditic. Rice stems were obtained by D. J. Hooper from R. Plowright (International Institute of Parasitology, St. Albans, Herts, England) who obtained them from N. T. T. Cuc (Faculty of Agriculture, University of Can Tho, Hau Giang Province, Vietnam). Originally cultured on Nigon's agar and agar with pieces of raw potato or meat. Culture sent to D. Fitch by W. Sudhaus September 24, 1993. |
