| Culture Notes | Grown on "semi-wet plates" (1% pure agar with 5 mg/ml cholesterol seeded with E. coli, 4 ml phosphate buffer (pH 7.3) added, incubated overnight at room temperature, and the buffer removed before adding nematodes). Males common. |
