| Culture Notes | Grows on OP50 at 16-25C. Hermaphroditic. Dauer juveniles accumulate under starved and overcrowded conditions. Fertile males are obtained from hermaphrodites incubated at 30C for 6-12 hours while L4s. High frequencies of males maintained by mating. 18s rDNA sequenced (Fitch et al., 1995). |
