| Culture Notes | Grows on OP50 at 16-25C. Hermaphroditic. Interfertile with EM435, a strain isolated from the same area 1 year earlier. Males are easily obtained by incubating L4 or young adult hermaphrodites at 30C for 6-12 hours. Dauer larvae accumulate under starved or overcrowded conditions. |
