| Culture Notes | Grows on OP50 at 20-25C. Gonochoristic. Live nematodes were extracted with a Baermann funnel and transferred to agar plates on October 23, 1991. Original culture was not an isofemale culture. Originally cultured on 1% agar sprinkled with two knife-tips of beef-peptone nutrient agar and soil particles from the original soil sample. Sent to D. Fitch from G. Borgonie, February 19, 1992. 18S rDNA partially sequenced by Armand Leroi. |
