| Culture Notes | Grows on OP50 at 20-25C. Hermaphroditic. Millipedes were originally maintained in a plastic shoe box containing sterile damp soil and lettuce. Dissections of live millipedes performed by George O. Poinar; nematodes removed onto nutrient agar plates with a mixed population of bacteria. Culture sent to W. Sudhaus, who sent a culture to D. Fitch, April 3, 1992. |
