ACTIVE:

- National Institutes of Health       R01 EY13010-10                           Sep. 2008- Aug. 2012

PI: Claude Desplan..       "Exclusion and coordination of rhodopsin genes."

This proposal investigates the regulation of rhodopsin genes, and the role of genes involved in setting up the retinal mosaic.

- National Institutes of Health        R01 EY13012-06                          Sep. 2008- Aug. 2012

PI: Claude Desplan,        “Patterning the retina for color vision”

A genetic approach is used to understand the communication between inner photoreceptor cells that lead to late patterning of the retina, allowing color vision.

-National Institutes of Health         R01 EY017916-02                        Jan 2007- Jan. 2012

PI: Claude Desplan        ”Mapping the optic lobe for color vision”

We offer to map the neural circuitry that process color information in the brain of Drosophila.
