Some small fragments describing standard German with DCG
The file dcg_naiv.pl contains some DCG-rules that are fit to describe simple German verb second clauses with the subject in frontal position. This is not a realistic treatment of German at all. It is meant to give a feeling for what to do with DCG built into Prolog.
To run this program you need to download it first, consult it from within your Prolog system together with the file chris.pl that draws syntactic trees represented as Prolog structures.
To run a few test examples simply type
at the Prolog prompt. To define your own test sentences modify or add the clauses
near the end of file dcg_naiv.pl.
