Yale Center for British Art - Paul Mellon Centre Fellowship The Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art, London, offers a year-long fellowship for research in any field of British art or architecture before 1960. Eligibility: Candidates can be of any nationality but must normally be enrolled in a graduate degree program at an American university or engaged in a post-doctoral or equivalent research. Period: One year. Residence in or near London for eight months of the period of the fellowship (July 1st - June 30th) is normally required. Award: US $17,500, plus roundtrip airfare from the United States. In addition, health insurance, staff and library privileges, research-related photography and travel expenses within the United Kingdom (up to US $500) are provided. Fellows are required to make their own arrangements for living accommodations in Britain. Deadline: Before January 15, 1998.
