Smithsonian Institution-Native American Visiting Student Awards

Appointments are available for currently enrolled, advanced Native
American graduate students who wish to pursue independent research
in association with the Smithsonian staff. The Smithsonian Institution,
offers study and research in the following fields: American art,
biological sciences, American history, materials analysis, history of
science and technology, physical sciences, and anthropology.

Stipends: $75 per day for up to 21 days and $300 per week for 3 to 10
    weeks, a travel allowance and a small research allowance.

Deadline: March 1, July 1 and November 1
