Smithsonian Institution-Minority Internship Program Internships in residence at the Smithsonian are available for U.S. minority graduate students and undergraduate students to participate in research or museum-related activities. At the Smithsonian Institution, fields covered include: American art, biological sciences, American history, materials analysis, history of science and technology, physical sciences, and anthropology. Period: Ten week periods. Stipends: $250 per week for undergraduate and $300 per week for graduate students and a travel allowance may be provided.
