Schechter Foundation

Scholarship: provides grants to graduate students in Physical 
    and Occupational therapy at NYU.

Eligibility: primary considerations for awards are based on
     character, high scholastic achievement, and demonstrated
     financial need. Applications must be requested in writing
     after October 1st. Correspondence to the Foundation should
     specify field of studies and graduate schools to which 
     students have been accepted or are currently enrolled.  

Period: 1 year only

Amount: from $1,000 to $2,000 for tuition purposes only.  

Deadline: Materials must be requested, in writing, by October 1st.
	  Application materials are due on July 1st (annually).
