Roth (Richard J.) Journalism Fellowship  

Fellowship: for 1 outstanding student intending a career in
     journalism. Fellow serves full-time in the office of the
     Press Secretary using and developing journalism expertise
     while gaining an exclusive view of legislative and press
     procedures.  

Eligibility: a New York State resident enrolled in an accredited
     graduate program in New York State.

Period: 1 year

Salary: $22,575 for the year (fully taxable), and eligible for
     some of the benefits and options of other Senate employees. 
     
Deadline: May 8 (annually)
