Rotary International Foundation--Multi-Year Ambassadorial Scholarships Multi-Year Ambassadorial Scholarship: The scholarship can be used for almost any field of study as long as the scholar is enrolled in a specific university degree program. Eligibility: Applicants must have completed at least two years of university or college course work. All applicants must be citizens of a country in which there is a Rotary club. Employees and relatives of Rotary staff members are ineligible. Period: Two or three years (depending on which is available through the sponsoring district) of degree-oriented study at an institution assigned by The Rotary Foundation Trustees. Award: The scholarship provides a flat grant of US$12,000 or its equivalent for each year; that is US$24,000 for two years, or US$36,000 for three years. Funding is intended to supplement the cost of pursuing one degree at one study institution. Deadline: Application deadlines are set by individual clubs and may be as early as March 2000 or as late as July 2000 for 2001-02 awards. Contact: The application is available at any Rotary Club.
